As Controller, Jamie Coulter oversees R.W. Sidley’s financial plans and policies, accounting practices, maintenance of financial records, and preparation of financial reports and schedules for external auditors and/or tax preparers. Jamie possesses years of financial and accounting experience, working in various private manufacturing industries and public accounting settings. She holds graduate and undergraduate accounting degrees from Kent State University.

The friendly, welcoming, team-oriented atmosphere at Sidley is what Jamie enjoys most about our company. She is quick to point out that people are always willing to help each other when someone is struggling. Jamie regards the average tenure of Sidley employees to be evidence of the type of organization she is proud to be involved with as a financial leader.

Jamie’s high school math teacher once taught her that anytime someone says you cannot do something, work as hard as you can to prove that person wrong. She believes not everything has to be done perfectly but that you should always make a genuine effort and cross the finish line. Jamie has crossed more than her share of finish lines, both literally and figuratively. She finds competing in 5k, 10k, and half-marathons extremely rewarding. In her free time, Jamie enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, walking, biking, volunteering, and reading. She says there’s nothing like putting on a headset, listening to your favorite tunes or podcast, and becoming one with the local trail to clear your mind of life’s worries.
